Let's try this again. Two years later. Ahem weelll at least I'm giving P365 another shot and not totally leaving this pitiful blog in the bloggy graveyard.
Today my ERGO baby carrier came in the mail! So excited about this purchase because this ERGO retails for $135 and I got it on BabySteals a few days ago for $65 (I think.. it was sixty-something). Yes, that's flipping half off!! I want to be a crunchy mom and I think I'm off to a decent start: CD, EBF, BW/APish. Or, for my non-bumpy friends, Cloth Diapering, Exclusive Breast Fed, Babywearing/Attachment Parentingish mommy.

Pack? Nah, make a tunnel.
Instead of working, this is how I spent my day. I told myself over and over that all day would be spent packing. I started off pretty well, going to my parents' house to get more boxes. But when I got there, I went to lunch with Megan. Then, I came home and worked on a Sodoku puzzle, crossword, and word jumble. Next came mind numbing hours of tv, followed by an hour of Rock Band. When I FINALLY decided to get up and start packing, I only managed to put together five boxes before building a tunnel for my cats and I to play in! Ah what a day...

Twins
So in theory this was a pretty cool picture. I made my mom get in it because we were both wearing turquoise and we matched the sky. My sister walked out and thought I had crashed my car because we seemed to be examining it closely to take a picture. She thought we were stupid once we clued her in to what I was doing. My mom tried to get her involved, "It's for her blog! It's her daily photo," but no luck. In theory the colors were even more vibrant and the car wasn't dirty. The sun got in the way of what the picture ACTUALLY was going to look like. Silly glare.

Buyer's Remorse
On Saturday Zac, Laura, Brandon and I went to the outlets in San Marcos. We ALL had talked about saving money and definitely NOT spending money on purses, especially Coach purses. So what do we do? We walk into the Coach outlet, which was absolute madness. Picture hundreds of people in one store, shoulder to shoulder, smelly, hot, white people in the minority. Yep, it was that kind of a shopping experience. As I'm walking around, clearly disenchanted with the merchandise, I see a brown patent leather purse begging to be picked up. I felt the pressure to keep up with everybody else who had at least five purses on each arm, when I had zero! I grabbed it, looked at the price, and ran to get in line just so I could get the hell out of the store. Retail $348, Outlet $298, Clearance $99, 50% off $45. Yes, I got a ~$400 purse for $45. How could I NOT get it? I couldn't even take it out of the bag until today when I finally left the apartment because I felt so guilty. ... and that my friends, is why I'm in debt up to my eyeballs (insert catchy commercial catchphrase there).
